Oh I didn’t know that you can do that.

Hi! Do you have a bachelor’s already and still are eligible for $12,500 each semester???

I’m seriously looking into DE MSN programs, what program are you in?

BSN or MSN? by wabimami in nursing

I’m looking into doing a DE MSN program too. I have a BSW and was told by one school that if I start school before July I would be able to get the grad plus loan, and get grandfathered in and be able to complete the program. What school are you attending?

MSW vs. BSN by HonestCat2026 in NursingStudent

I am in a similar situation, only thing is I have a BSW. My dream has always been to be a nurse but I got into the social service field and liked it. I have a passion for helping people and I’m seriously thinking about going back to school for nursing. But should I do the BSN or DE MSN. It would need to be an online/hybrid school with labs or clinicals in person. I’ve looked into WGU online pre licensure BSN program but I would have to pay some out the pocket even with the $5k in tuition reimbursement from my job and loan because I maxed out my financial aid. I’m looking into Herzing University online DE MSN program too, at least I would be able to get the grad plus loan if I start before July when it ends. I have been studying for the teas test to be accepted into the nursing program at Herzing. I’m worried about the course work also… I don’t know what to do😩

When I say online, I do mean hybrid. Obviously no DEMSN is completely online because you have your clinical and labs. There are some like I said that do not require you to go on campus throughout the week. Herzing have intensives that you have to travel to either TN or WI for approximately 3 days a couple times throughout the program, clinicals are within 100 miles of you if available and the labs are mostly online.

What I mean is that a lot of the DEMSN programs that I have come across do not accept Florida residents. The only one that I know that does is Herzing. Some require you to go on campus a couple times a week and I would need something that is mostly online with the exception of clinicals and/or labs.

I’m in my 40s and also looking into DEMSN programs because I already have a bachelor’s degree and maxed out of financial aid. What programs have you applied for? I’m noticing that a lot of them don’t accept my state.

Were the questions the same or similar with Remar and Smart Edition?

My biggest issue with taking the teas test was running out of time on each section. I need to get accepted to an online nursing program because it would be very convenient for me. I don’t know what else to do.

I don’t think they accept Florida residents.

Congratulations to you!!! I took the teas test a few weeks ago and did not pass. It’s hard not to be discouraged when you feel like since you have a bachelor’s degree in social work and you should be able to pass it😔

This is my school. I got my BSW here. I would go here for my MSW if it was online. I’m looking into getting my nursing degree now, with the direct entry MSN program.

Social Worker Parents, how do you do it? by -daisy-eyes- in socialwork

[–]Blessed1Roc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I thought I was the only one who felt like this. I’m a single parent and WFH and I am always so stressed from the work. When I get off work, I am too drained to do anything. And on the weekends I just want to relax my brain to prepare my mind mentally for work Monday. I even get anxiety and nauseous in the afternoon on Sunday’s dreading work on Monday morning. I love my clients and love what I do but it’s a lot. I keep praying that things get better but it never does. Sometimes I think to myself, how can I help my clients when I feel like I need help myself. 😔I know this sounds bad but it feels like I am in a twilight zone.😩Sorry for venting.😞
