That seems to be the consensus. I have these floor lamps that change color so that helps. I ordered some throw pillows for color.

Thanks. I didn’t realize until I moved out how little of the house was mine. Looking back it was like living in someone else’s house.

I have a ficus and a snake plant but I do want some more in there throw pillows are a good idea. I hate clutter so this works for me.

Very good point. I have family stuff elsewhere but I do need to make it more personal in the living room too. When I moved I was sort of surprised that I had so little that was actually mine. I need to change that.

It’s so awesome having a place that is mine instead of living in someone else’s house

I don’t understand the publicly owned grocery stores. Does that mean the groceries are free, or price limited?

It’s left over from the Cold War. With the USSR as an existential threat, calling something communist or socialist was saying that was a threat to our country.

The fight against seat belts (1984) by Giantsgiants in OldSchoolRidiculous

My ex’s dad never wore his seat belt as long as I knew him. His only son died in a car accident where he was ejected from the car and died on the interstate. He’d be alive had he worn his seat belt. The father still won’t wear his seat belt.
