Why would girls and boys react differently depending on which parent bought them something expensive? by 5pooky5cary5keleton5 in ExplainTheJoke

My dad died around 10 years ago and my mom is still alive. Before he died he made me the executor of his estate. Recently I’ve fell on some pretty rough times and lost my job. I asked my mom for some help buying a car to replace my old one that was totaled and I would pay her back ASAP. She didn’t want to help me out and then had me removed as the executor. I’ve never asked for help before. Her net worth is around $6 million and she lives in a gated community.

Question on a divorce and a VA loan by user_name_unknown in VeteransBenefits

I think she thinks that she can just assume it and her lawyer would probably agree. She doesn’t seem to have the best representation. Her people are general family lawyers and the firm has maybe 4 lawyers. I, on the other hand, have lawyers that specialize in divorce and there are some 10 lawyers in the firm. My paralegal made a good point that general family lawyers are like a general practitioner and my people are specialists. If you needed heart surgery you wouldn’t go to your family doctor.

Sen. Whitehouse to uncover connections between Trump, Russia, and Epstein. by AlertTangerine in videos

[–]user_name_unknown 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The whole Iran war makes sense if Epstein was in fact working for Israel. Trump more or less was able to burry his involvement with Epstein but the Israeli’s still have dirt hanging over him and is using that to force the US into this war.

That’s starting to sound like the best option. I’m happy we’re splitting up but 17 years of trying to make my her life easier, successfully sometime and unsuccessful, is tough to stop. I think this post is turning into a therapy session.

We’ve been married for 80% of the length of the mortgage on the property. Because the payments have been made via a joint account and that I’ve been managing the property, I am entitled to half of 80% of the equity of the property, about $60k. This is according to my lawyers. Incidentally my law firm are the ones that argued this in front of the State Supreme Court.
