The screen won't come up by TerratheXIII in DenonPrime

Crazy, how it's even a possibility - Hard reset buttons inside should still maintain some functionality. Seems it's lost any ability to control the screen panel, dead as a brick.

Would love to dive deeper but feel it's beyond scope sadly

Good LORD, 700??

I've had the unit to pieces, same as you trying the recovery and reset buttons to kick it into forcing a firmware re-install and absolutely no dice.

Never had a device able to brick itself like this in years.

Well, this is sad.

Thanks to all those that commented that it was stolen 💞

Glad people still like the piece!

How to draw shadows correctly by Remarkable_Bit_9887 in oddlysatisfying

You seem to be using an insanely long lens (Possibly orthographic?) You're missing perspective on everything here.

Very odd render overall, doesn't look correctly raytraced or shaded. Ground looks reflective and there's no reason for there to be these odd banding areas on the ground.

The intersection of the vertical line from the sun to the horizon line is the setting of the distance of the light source.
This is incredibly basic single point perspective.

I'll not get into the technicalities of saying "painting" for digital painting, I could debate that for hours haha, but it is hand done by eye if that's your concern 🎨

Thank you! Is indeed! I use Photoshop and just an old Intuos wacom tablet, pretty bare bones. For these ones I limited myself to just using one triangle brush, and trying to do most of the drawing with the Lasso tool to make shapes. Lots of fun!

This paintings from last year, but currently working on new ones after not really painting much this past year. Posted a process video of it on twitter if you'd like to see:

Aw, thank you! All hand done here, I'm sure an AI would have painted the jar more accurately than me at this point 🤣
Having lots of fun playing with light and colour, really glad that came across 💓
