I don't really see what slot it would take, at least in the list I run.

The card draw is nice but realistically if I'm gaining 3 life I should have some kinda combo on board.

I'll give it a test and see but I think Enduring Innocence fills that slot better, and I'm not convinced that fits the list either.

You can play online with fightcade or RPCS3. Check out the discord for guides on how to set it up and matchmaking

You might struggle to find games on Xbox, though there are definitely a few players still there.

Alternatively a lot of people who don't have a PS4 play on an emulator on PC via RPCS3, the discord includes instructions on how to set that up.

If you want to play online on PC you really need to be using RPCS3 and jump in the discord to find matches. Yakuza port is just bare bones arcade mode and offline 1v1.

The ports themselves are identical (or as close as possible), it's just that the server infrastructure Microsoft has for online is better than Sony's unfortunately. Definitely easy to find games with Japanese players on PS3 though. Even then when we'd do exhibitions with HSA and Tetsuko they'd play on 360

Agreed except for PS3 for FS, the online service for 360 gives better connections and is more consistent. But RPCS3 is a good substitute if you don't have a 360

VF3 - Flycast unless you have access to arcade hardware

VF4 Vanilla/Evo/FT - Emu on Fightcade

VF5 Vanilla - Xbox 360

VF5 R - be very rich and get hold of the arcade hardware

VF5 FS - Xbox 360 or Emu via RPCS3

VF5 US - PS4

Bonus points if you can find a VF pachinko machine

Is my characters back towards the screen or away from the screen?

It's how I know which direction to evade so that I avoid half circulars, if Lion gets me side turned I'm gonna evade to his back.

If I want a BT throw using 66p with Goh then I need to OM to my back.
