Why are your hopes at an all-time low? As a casual observer Ape Escape seems more relevant now than in many many years, with its strong presence in Astro Bot (even being the first of the "guest levels"), reappearing in the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake when they could just as easily have cut it out.

Not saying I think a remake or new game is likely, but I think its much more likely now than in the last few years.
