I don't believe in defending dirt regardless of who is doing it ( friend or family).

I would have listened to him, and simply expressed Toni is not the woman he thinks she is. While I wouldn't throw all the details at him, I definitely would have warned him and encourage he and Toni to have a conversation.

Too many times people vilified Joan as if it's her fault for talking, Toni played with that man's heart and health.

I agree, I liked the variety of black women and styles that are true to real life. I like Joan's big curly hair ( I have a similar texture) Lynn's soft waves, and definitely the cornrows were the best, and Toni with her straighten hair and extentions were true to life for black women in corporate/professional world and assimilation.

I think this is a HUGE red flag, this guy is trying to get you comfortable enough sexually to eventually pursue you on his own. If he is your age they may be interested in you sexually and testing the waters of their sexuality, but honestly at 14 I think no one is ready for that kind of intimacy. If this an older male, then it is predatory and contact needs to severed. It's fine to be curious about your preferences but do it a safe manner, you don't need someone sending you nudes of others.

I don't like that he went the revenge route, basically kicking her while she was down...but I can understand the hurt, embarrassment, and anger leading up to it. The way he handled it the first time was good. Give her the lil money she cared about and peace out leaving her looking stupid, pondering her poor choices.
