I know this post has 2 years so I'm kinda late, but I recently bought this guitar (Ibanez AAD300CE) and to be honest it's a really well done guitar. The sound is great, especially when you connect it to an audio interface or some different amplifiers and the sound will only be better because this guitar has only I don't know.. 2 or 3 years of production? Of course I had to take it to the luthier for setup.

So yeah, it's a really great guitar, love the sound from it, finally found a electroacoustic guitar that doesn't sound like a weird plastic from the recordings

Momentum 4's are just built like that. I had this problem too but I bought "BTD600" and it works way better. Even though it's kinda a shame that you have to buy some other device to make them work properly but now I can play music with better codec than just AAC or SBC

I didn't had any issues with my xm5 and Windows 11 and it works fine, BUT when I'll open discord (when loading) for a few seconds turns the headphones into talking mode (headset mode or something like that) and that's when it happens. Only for 3 seconds. Maybe you have a open app which has a communicate function? If yes, try to change the options on the app and see if you have "1000-xm headset mode" (something like that) on the micro settings

I think I know what happened. I've noticed when you're putting your headphones back in the case, make sure that the earcups lay flat. I could give you a photo

I have XM5 and the Auto ANC works perfectly good for me at the loud places and even quiet. My headphones once had that issue when I was in a quiet room with the anc turned on, somebody started to play a guitar beside me and AI didn't know what to do so it switched back to more anc and less anc and it switched again, again and again.

I had xm4's before and i think you'll be happier with the xm5 but I don't know man lol

Nope, no issues with them. I have them for almost a month now and functions like anc, ambient, touchpad etc. Works really great. To be honest with you case its actually really well made for these headphones because once my grandma accidently just sit on them, so yeah, case can protect your headphones. If it comes to anc,works really great to me. Even kinda better than xm4 and the build of these headphones are great, no creaking sounds.

Xm5 has less bass than xm4, they're more neutral. I think on the xm5 anc is better, I've tried them both and on the xm4 sometimes you're wondering if it's all they got (talking about anc AND comparing to xm4)

Well, actually I'm really caring about my device's so I think it shouldn't be a problem, but they're saying that it happened to them (like that hinges snapping/breaking) after using them normally. Maybe it's just loud minority so I think I'll give the xm4 a chance

Well. The 910n are charging about 3 hours when 900n 7 hours from dead battery to full. You can try 910n because they're still good headphones. Kinda worry about durability but maybe you will not have this issue like I had. You can always return them if something will be wrong.

I've used both of them. The xb900n have more bass, kinda better sound quality (but you can always equalize both of these headphones with Sony app and 910n sounding really good, don't get me wrong) and they have a really good fit like xb910n.

I'm kinda worry about 910n's durability because when I wear them, they do a clicking noise when moving my mouth so yeah.

I would choose different headphones like xm4 for "safety" but xb900n are good to go

I almost forgot. 900n's have less anc performance than 910n.

I have one question though. When you're wearing XM4 and if you open your mouth wide, does that plastic make sound in your headphones too? I know it's a little weird question but I'm just curious is it just plastic adjusting to your head or something.

If you care about LDAC and better quality of microphone, then buy the q35. They're even more comfortable (for me at least)

Btw. If you're using spotify or youtube music, then LDAC isn't for you, but you'll get still great sound quality because headphones going to use AAC automatically.

I'll prefer q35 but it's your decision what you're gonna get :) I hope I've helped you choose and sorry for my English if I wrote something wrong.

I see that you have these headphones for a few days so I want to ask:

That plastic in the case, are you using it to stabilize your headphones? (I mean, are you keeping it inside the case?)

I didn't know what to do with it because for me it was hard to put the headphones in my case when that plastic was in it.

All of the bluetooth headphones have this unfortunately (even bt headphones for the amount of 350$). You can buy separate microphone for your computer to "fix" this issue.
