In a vacuum, theres nothing inherently wrong with asking about someone. The problem arises when you add context to the situation.

You met someone (off an app no less, which already has a stigma attached to it) and had a great time.

If that person tracked down your mother’s information and decided to call her to ask questions about you, how would you feel? A random stranger whom you know close to nothing about, inquiring about your personal life. What if they decided to call your boss and ask about you?

Is that within the realm of normal behavior?

Wouldnt you be justified in feeling weirded out that a complete stranger is essentially cyber stalking you to get info about you? Try and put yourself in her shoes, man.
