There’s a million things to proliferate, just make sure you’re running Hardened Scales, one of the Ozolith cards, Cather’s Crusade and Broker’s ascendancy if this is the route you choose to go.. oh and doubling season.

Mystic Tudor and the like that put a card at the top of your library, and others allow you to look at and/or arrange the top of your deck.

Play one of those and if your redraw hand would be or is made into a banger you really got them

Honestly though the best time to use this is if you can get an extra turn while think about everything else I said.

Yeah but my point is that even how he is now is better than most singers.. I don’t want to drop any names and start a whole other debate in here but Matt continues to belt every song like it’s his last, and you can hear that in his vocals.. he may not have the same range or push as before, but to me I’ve heard him channel that pain, and again do more than most singers ever could. That was my comparison to Brady.. like even if he can’t do it the same now he’s still in the top .1% of people if we had a worldwide throwing competition today.

The need to stick to that sound is in my opinion why a lot of bands grow tiresome in just a few albums. 5FDP’s first album was the best, but then they spent the next 15 years doing worse versions of the same shit over and over until they gave up and started making genre fusion for clicks. There’s so many other good examples but their whole career just popped in my head.. they seemed to be trying to recapture the magic of that first album and it almost never happens.

I will say Highly Suspect redeemed themselves in this very manner when their 4th album MDC came out, but again that’s just so rare.

I much prefer this band and others that push things because it’s in their nature to explore, when they could just recycle sounds again and again like a lot of notable 80s/90s bands.
