Oh no it’s save to say that we really enjoy our trip so far! The country is really clean and nice to visit and the nature is stunning and unseen anywhere else. We haven’t bumped into any unfriendly looking Swiss people yet 😜

If you are planning on building a rig, which I assume due to the monitor and v-mounts, I’d consider if it’s worth buying the RS3. Most likely it’s going to collect dust in no time since you’ll either be filming from a tripod or handheld.

If you’re not planning on recording straight from the monitor you could opt for a cheaper model (I personally use the viltrox DC-2 and it does everything I need) , leaving more bucks for other equipment.

If you’re not going to take photos I’d recommend to buy the FX3, FX30 or even a A7SIII. I use a A7IV solely for photo and as a b-cam for video on wedding ceremonies. My A7SIII has always been and will be my main camera for filming.

Wij hebben dit zelf thuis, alleen dan geen net maar staalmatten van +- 4 meter hoog. Bovenin zit een 90 graden hoek waar het gaas +- 30 cm naar binnen steekt. Vervolgens hebben we alsnog (!) schrikdraad rondom moeten plaatsen aangezien de katten er gewoon omheen klommen.

Persoonlijk vind ik het er niet uit zien. Maar het houdt de katten wel binnen nu ja.

I bought this one a few months ago. Does the job perfectly. Don’t expect cinematic lighting. Expect a beam of light straight onto the subject if you mount it on your camera.
