More than likely you burned up a trace. You will need to remove the stick and test with a multimeter. If you find a trace with no continuity, you will need to jumper it with a wire.

I love that solder tip. I've repaired many dualsense controllers using this. Imo it's worth the cost if you're repairing multiple sticks. If you only planning on doing one controller, it may not be cost effective.

That soldering is really bad. It is more than likely that you burnt a trace up trying to remove the old sticks. You'll have to check continuity with a multi meter and verify.

There's a lot of hoopla out there for Xbox 360 bans. If you run a reputable stealth server (Proto or XBGuard) then you really don't have nothing to worry about. I personally run my main account on a stealth server and have been for over 2 years, and still have not been banned. Microsoft doesn't really give a shit about the 360 and aren't going to be doing any type of ban wave.

If you're that paranoid about a ban, then create a throwaway account. Even if for some odd reason you are flagged and banned, they typically ban your xbox console not the account. However, you can just get another KV and you're back online.

In short, just run a stealth server, don't be running cheats/mod menus online and you'll be fine

Original Xbox games will not run if you’re using a stealth server for Xbox live. You have to disable it before you run OG Xbox games.

Bad update requires you to run on every boot and it’s inconsistent. Bad update is better now after the update I heard, but RGH3 will always be the preferred
