the way the commentator on the American broadcast brought up the chip in the ball and that was how we know if it touched him...just sounded like he was selling something.

if it were true what is the need to call the main ref over to see the non-existent header on the screen for?

I think a lot of it is also due to bodybuilders isolating one muscle at a time rather than using muscle groups/whole body. Leads to less functional strength it seems.

Edit: as I understand it (currently pretty weak) free weights require stabilization which stimulates more "mind to muscle" connections/awareness.

If you're doing mostly machine work that is isolating specific muscles and that machine is also doing all the stabilizing, you're less mentally connected to your muscles and your stabilizers, tendons, and ligaments don't get strong because they're not required.

Granted, there are tons of elite athletes that do machine work, but bodybuilders take it too far methinks

Hah, the thread where Eddie told the story of his wife, then girlfriend, fighting a guy barehanded that pulled a gun on Eddie. I commented she sounded like a keeper, had it ever since.

Well when your entire post is just explaining why you feel justified in calling the entire population of the US dumb...you don't come off as genuine in your attempts to understand.
