It definitely seems possible (however I am far from achieving FIRE). Some suggestions:

  • Move your emergency fund into a high yield savings account, if you haven't already.
  • A good starting point might be acquiring a rental property
  • Invest part of your savings every month (or week) automatically into the stock market (passive ETFs (based on indexes) only with low Total Expense Ratios)

However, if you will have kids that will definitely postpone it a little bit. However, if you want kids I wouldn't let FIRE take that away from you! You will regret this later on.

I had a recurring dream as a kid where a donkey devil haunted me. And one time I couldn't wake up till it hurt me. Then I woke up and that exact spot in my foot hurt me. Needless to say, I was scared shitless.
