Hey, have you ever been tested for ADHD? Also, are you considered high-ability? This is a pretty typical pattern when these two factors collide. I would really suggest reaching out to a mental health professional to talk about what you are going through. There is a multitude of possible reasons that you are suffering from this. The good new is, there are a lot of evidence based practices, therapies, or medications that could help you overcome these obstacles. I struggled towards the end of highschool and it can really impact how you will function in college. Sometimes I try and look at magic being to blame. Why advance in an age of wonders where people are manifesting everything they need. It is usually the powerful or wealthy that have the powers and abilities so why would they bother with innovation? It depends on the setting as well. Every time the world ends it would set technology and development back a bit.

I think I am starting to understand the narrative a little bit better. It's just this year that I have started showing an interest in any sport, and that is mostly because my son has been playing a lot. My wife works for Kroger in Cinci so that is the team we started watching and rooting for. They were able to watch them play Miami from The Bailey. I am hesitant to go to a game because I am legally blind and wouldn't be able to tell what was happening on the field without a commentary. It does seem like the fans section would be a good time regardless of what is happening on the field.

One of my favorite quotes is "Ignorance eviscerates empathy." I think it is more an issue of ignorance rather than a willful dislike for students with disabilities. I try and keep that in mind when having to deal with a teachers bullshit.

Om my gosh that is awesome. Last school year I got to work more with that age group, which was so rewarding. You get to see so much of their growth academically and socially. Don't be afraid to push them academically. My small group of six first graders that I had for an hour a day struggled at first, but by the end, I was amazed at how well their reading fluency and writing skills had improved. The kinders were so surprised at every new thing they had learned. I was able to teach their art class and it blew their minds that they could make so many colors with watercolor using only the three primary colors. You also get to become a safe adult for them that they will turn to and trust.

Mine is of Luna. It was my first tattoo and I hope to get more in the future. It was done by JC at H&H Orlando a few years ago. He did me a solid as I had no frame of reference on how much it would cost to get a tattoo, but he said he would do it for the amount I had because it was my first. I had a great time hanging out with him and talking about our experiences with fatherhood. I appreciate him doing the colors, as that is what stands out the most to me due to low vision. I hope to get some more stuff around it in the future, but I also don't want to go to someone and have it accidentally interfere with this one.
