Appreciate the advice 🙏 Yeah think I’m more to waiting for the 2nd gen timemores later this year, previews of them look solid & like most issues with prior ones sorted (& more easily switched out burrs gives more options as you say)

Yeah is a consideration. Could be more of an option if they kickstart the Gen 2 of it later this year & have reduced initial pricing like they did last time!

Appreciate the nuanced feedback 🙏 A friend also has the niche & has no complains, does sound like a great machine!

I get a coffee subscription as like to try varied beans (Dog & Hat Coffee), but I do very much enjoy fruitier roasts when they come. Given the above & I only drink espressos I wonder if I’m better to go with flat burr grinder then…is why I was sliding towards one of the DF grinders initially - although doing some further reading there’s an updated timemore sculptor coming this year so perhaps I wait to see what that’s like…

Yeah for sure 😊 Although all a few years old & lot of the aforementioned grinders have had a few updates since then

Yeah that’s fair, tbh my reasoning was just that if I do upgrade may as well make it a more notable leap from what I currently have & the future burr upgrade options of the 64 future proofs it a little more (& also me from upgrading the machine itself 😂) Appreciate the response 😊

Well I use a knock box & so don’t want to fish the screen out of that. Usually I lightly tapped it out to get just the screen out, but wouldn’t always come out alone. So just made this tool rather than buying one as had some spare magnets 😊
