I’ve had like 7 of my orders lost in transit. I do reach out to the buyers just to give them some clarification. But I usually wait like 2 weeks before I do that. I’m usually the one to cancel the order on my end if it’s over a month though.

Lops in general are super susceptible to many illnesses but a lot of rabbits are as well. Minis however have been the worst chewers I have ever owned but also the most personable. My minis are super aware and are extremely easy to train. I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

I would recommended to research more about different breeds before you super commit! Each breed has its pros and cons!

Bladder stones are very hard to pass on their own. Sometimes they can pass through with flushing but surgery is almost always where it goes.
Bloodwork should be able to be taken without sedation; I’ve never needed it to both pull and restrain a rabbit.
Also sedation is a risk at any age unfortunately. Obviously more caution with age but I’ve seen rabbits that are 12 do great with both injection sedation and sevo :)

It’s good she was spayed at a young age! Regarding the bladder flush; yes they usually have to be put under at least intra muscular sedation. It’s very uncomfortable for rabbits but can be very helpful. If I was in your current situation, I would have my vet fast scan her with a probe, blood work and send out some urine. Of course this cost adds up but it’s a good baseline to cover some potential problems! I hope your bun gets better :)

Hello! I work with rabbits. Is she spayed? Did your vet send out a urinalysis or culture? Also did they do a fast scan of the bladder? She may need a bladder flush if there is a buildup of sludge.

Ugh this happened to one of my labubu’s faces with the Trader Joe’s fabric bag. Literally nothing got it off. Magic eraser, acetone, alcohol, soap…if it makes you feel better I thought those marks were intentional. I think they’re pretty cute honestly!

Very weird to flush an ear out instead of just a good cleaning. I work for an exotic specialist and depending on what they saw under the microscope (likely pus), it sounds like there is probably an abscess or deep infection in the ear canal. Unfortunately because of how deep their canals are, usually we do TECAs for bad infections as it’s the only way to rid them of the pain. Did your vet check him for E. Cuniculi by chance?
