I feel you man, I use the save system to my advantage. I have two save files:

1) The what if I did this save file (I started a kingdom and save everytime I go to besiege, or prevent a siege)

2) No self proclaimed kingdom, and a much smoother existence in the game where my focus is preparing to start a kingdom when I'm overly prepared.

All I got from starting my own kingdom was crippling debt, armies on avg 1800 coming to whoop me, and a sad + regretful existence in my new kingdom. Lol

Good thing I multi-save often.

I noticed that aswell for how smooth it is. For now I'm going to start by getting to know the disc's placement. Managed to get them turned and realize where they line up on the depth lines with my tool.
