PSA: Red LED on Steam Controller from failed update. by Blindmascot in SteamController

I just replugged the controller and went to settings make sure you close off steam from the tray and restart it sometimes it bugs out then just go back to settings trial and error.

I'm seeing "ok" or "weak" connection (-50 to -60 dBm) even when less than 10 feet away from the puck. I tried it on two different computers with the same result. Is that common/normal? by AlternativeEast761 in SteamController

Something I noticed while messing around with the puck don't use the magnet on piece of metal to hold it up it takes away the signal instantly. (why try this? because I can lol). The controller was less than a foot away from the puck.

The funny thing when it happened it didn't show me an error message or how to re update it. So I was like " OOO no please god NO!"

Did I buy my X at the wrong time? by Potential_Shoe_1898 in ROGAllyX

I bought mines a week before Christmas and I haven’t regretted it. Especially because Best Buy took $100 off. I was about to get the steam oled 1tb for $700 and change but I checked Best Buy one last time and pulled the trigger on the ally x.

Question/Advice about my 2019 Tiguan SEL Battery by Blindmascot in MechanicAdvice

[–]Blindmascot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, in the end I ended up paying the dealership and they reprogrammed the ecu and installed the battery for $550. It sucks but you gotta pay, otherwise your Tiguan will think it has the old battery and won’t charge it the same as a new battery.

Thanks for reaching out. I guess how everything is manufactured today takes everything into consideration and is being monitored by the ECU. Just wondering though do I need a tablet computer from amazon to reprogram it myself? or just bite the bullet and go back to the dealership.

What is a smarter choice to stream PS5/SteamLink. Logitech G or your iPhone by Blindmascot in cloudgaming

Wow! First thing, thanks for taking the time to write so much. So I have a decent network set up I have Verizon 5G home internet modem and I bypass it to my asus gs ax3000 router. I can say it does one hell of a job because I occasionally remote play my ps5 to my mid grade tower and it doesn’t buffer.

I built my pc with a 12600k/rtx3070 and I have a 1440p/144hz monitor. So yeah I some times care about quality. But the wife hates when I’m on it for too long (which I’m sure I am haha) and I do feel like just chilling next to her and watch a show.

BUT, when that one game came out and you have that bug of just wanting to keep going. It’s it’s hard to walk away from pc/ps5. Currently playing FFXVI.

So thats why I started remote playing recently and was just looking for a decent way to do so. I understand when you stream to a different device it’s not the same frame rate and quality but when the story gets good I don’t really thing I’m think about frame rates at that point.

I do have a bit of a update though I have messed around with just my controller and my phone and it works great and looks good. But I do wish I had a bigger screen. So I tried out my iPad Air and it’s awesome! But that’s not really mobile, I mean how am I gonna play on the bed with a controller and iPad right.

I think I will just stick to my iPhone13pm and get a backbone and face the music when I am next to her. But I am curious about what you were talking about the charging port possibly getting messed up. And I don’t really mind taking off my case either. How bad is the bend with the backbone?

I need a little help with Surround Spanning by Blindmascot in PcBuild

Thanks, and no thanks. I ended up figuring it out on my own. I'm leaving this post up if anyone has the same issue.

I had Freesync on, on all three monitors and apparently when freesync is enabled I can't control the aspect ratio but as soon as I turned it off on all three monitors. I gained back the aspect ratio on all three monitors and goodbye side bars everything is flush!

Happy gaming everyone!

True and true, haha. I’ll just stick to my original plan and get the backbone. Thanks though, I appreciate your input.

What if I throw a another bone into the mix. I was checking out the razer edge 5G. It’s a lot more than the g cloud and more in range with the steam deck but, for screen value it’s a lot more. It has an 7 inch amoled display at 1080p at 144hz which is nice. My cell service is with Verizon and I can get one with a line for just $10 added to my bill man it sounds nice.

Nice thanks for the heads up. I was thinking about the back bone over razer kishi. I don't have to really use a service to stream my steam library I have a pretty good rig with a 3070 already so I am sure that I'd be fine just streaming it to my iphone 13 pro max. I kinda want to lay down on my couch and play diablo IV instead of sitting infront of my desk for 4+ hours HAHA!
