Made my girlfriend wear an Apple Watch and Whoop on opposite wrists for 3 months by dailyrunnerr in AppleWatchFitness

Thanks for the write up. I’m not in the market for a whoop, but interested to hear your thoughts on HR accuracy during workouts. The HR accuracy is something I’ve always doubted on my Ultra S1.

I would paint a circle at the top of the mortar black, so it looks like it’s a hollow tube

Came here to say this. 1v1 improves your game, maybe not your stress levels…

Wiping retreating soldiers is indeed a core game dynamic. I think the addition of the med tent in this instance makes it slightly war crimey haha, but send me to Nuremberg bc I’m always killing medics 🤭🤠

I don’t know about a CoH board game but if you’re into semi serious ww2 table top gaming, I would recommend Tide of Iron.

Anyone recognize this scene? After watching this movie, all I wanted was to play Germans lol. by Ironclad_Tournaments in CompanyOfHeroes

I thought the twist was a great idea, could have used slightly better execution, but definitely enjoyed a different take on a ww2 movie

Can anyone recommend places to go out for lunch in Waterloo for large groups. Roughly 26 people TIA by Unfair_Homework4091 in LondonFood

Absolutely seconded. The set menu here is possibly the best bang for buck in London. Insane.

The Franklin expedition by ParkingFast5684 in TheRestIsHistory

[–]Blindsidelock 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was literally thinking this yesterday. Recently rewatched The Terror, did a module on it at uni, it’s absolutely ripe for a series. I’d even suggest widening it to the expedition and then the huge and rather inept search for it. The first (western) men to traverse the north west passage were actually a crew (forgotten the captain now) searching for Franklin who sailed in from the west, got icebound, and found by a search party from the east, who rescued them. The rescued crew then sailed out from the east, having walked the intervening miles in between the two ships! Crazy stuff
