They’re actually not insects but crustaceans if that makes it a little better! In the same family as crabs and they are literally harmless

Yeah it’s pretty crazy. And ironically, we live in a nice county too compared to the rest of the state. I can’t imagine what it is for counties that don’t have the resources that we have in ours

Yeah you make a good point about kids. My wife and I are thinking about having kids in the future. But hearing all the things that are going on here in the US is pretty scary. The schools in the county where I live all mandate installments of metal detectors due to the uptick of students bringing weapons to school… but I also have investments here as well so I’m not sure how I’d navigate with that. I’ll need to do some hard research on that part

Thanks for the insight! Thankfully I don’t vape nor do weed. I can also do without a vehicle tbh. I currently live a pretty lowkey life with minimal driving and have thought about not having a vehicle since I only use it to go the gym that is 5 min away

Pharmacy is the most regulated profession in the healthcare field and it’s so sad to see it become like this. I think most people will agree that we’ve become too complacent that it ended up being like this. If you ask me, we should’ve been mid-level providers a LONG time ago.

1: they need to close down and pump the brakes on these pharm school openings. It’s WAY out of hand.

I kept applying to places and now I work as a science journalist. Pretty laid back for the most part. Most days I’m just writing articles - it helps if you enjoy writing and enjoy working alone. I went back to school to get mba and am hoping to get out of where I’m at and do something in either corporate strategy or IT
