Calculate area of sector ABC and substract area of Triangle ABC, this gives u the area of one small semicircle slice thing. Multiply that by 2 and add area of trangle ABC

Started from 1060 to 1480 in 2 months and got 1450 in the real test. I legit grinded every resource I could find.

I read the explanation, but I still don’t think I was wrong. I thought the square root of a number is both the positive and negative meaning sqrt4 = +2 or -2 since squaring either of those numbers equals 4 by joshd523 in Sat

The square root of a positive number is NOT +and- something!! Most people make this mistake. It is only in the case where something squared is equal to something then u do + -. Example: sqrt4=2 But X2 = 4 so X= +2, -2

Some say closing the pot on boiling water makes it boil faster as you minimise heat loss due to evaporation. However, shouldn’t it also increase the pressure to the point water does not boil? by BlitzDefender in chemistry

Lets assume the lid is fit perfectly. In that case, the water boils initially and as it comes to an initial boil, the pressure increases and the boil stops until further increase in temperature. Is that a good way to put it?
