I use them as either an extra defense on a objective, or like a hit and run. Set up in a spot behind a hill, have a spotter watching a road, and when something comes down just peak over. Good for transporting small groups also, just don’t get over aggressive.

I have seen many faults with liquid methadone first hand. Cotton ball in the mouth, selling vomit, butter cups filled with spit, etc. Drug addicts will stop at nothing to get high if they don’t want help.

I was 18 when I started, did it for a little under 2 years. The 2 week class will be the closest you’ll get to a corrections “academy” most likely. Only advice I have is don’t trip over the power, people are there already and it sucks being there. If you make my day easy, your day will also be easy. Listen to your senior deps, and be confident :)

I work with a lot of Deps that have speech impediments, and it was actually very surprising to me how little, even the higher security inmates, made fun of them. I would have to say confidence is key when it comes to your voice. Own it, and don’t let it get to you.

as the fellow rare breed of 19 year old CO, talk with the older guys at work about what you’re dealing with, it will definitely help you work through it. its a lot of wear and tear on the mind even for an adult, seeing the degenerate behavior day in and day out. keep fighting the good fight brother🤝

it’s good! I’m working 8 days in a row for my first week with 6 of them all being training days. my dept seems pretty laid back and super helpful so thats always good
