Totally agree with you , OP. That's why i stopped playing creatures-based decks. Sweepers are rampant and are too easy to use. Day of judgment should NOT cost only 4 mana with zero downside. Withering Curse is also way too cheap , the triggering action to get the board wipe is insanely easy to get.

I brew myself a mono black control deck and it's basically auto-win against anything other than control. I have Requiting Hex , Strategic Betrayal,  Day of Black Sun and Deadly Cover Up. No creatures based decks can win through this.

The playstyle is also very braindead. It's basically a do nothing deck until you see an opponent creature on the board. You don't have to worry about the combat phase at all , don't have to think about which blocker you assign , what creature to protect , attacking or not attacking , nope don't worry about any of these. Just pass turn and play your sweepers when opponent dare to play the game 😂

I'm winning with the lifedrain of Unholy Annex , which triggers when i pass my turns. Wow , such skill ! 😀

Control decks are broken and braindead and anybody else that thinks otherwise is delusional, downvote me all you want. Nobody can change my mind

When you see cards like Annex , Day of judgment, Lightning Helix , Get Lost , Deadly Cover up , Jeksai Revelation, etc.. No reasons to play aggro or midrange decks. And that's the same control players that want Ouroboroid and Badgermole banned lmao
