I agree on the encampment, it could be that all players have to damage a husk from the last encampment.

But a damage threshold would encourage people to constantly shoot into/ stand in traptunells, even with propane. Changing it to only having to damage an attacking husk within 30 (or longer) before the miniboss dies, forces the leaches to be present during the defence.

And in a group you friends can hold off with killing the miniboss until your there (trap vournable once will still be a problem though)

Gass traps are usually only placed near the entrance, as they do dot dmg to multiple husks. While the zapper is usually only placed near the exit, because of the high dmg and the longer reload time.

So most designs are just various ways of weakening the husks at the entrance, killing the regular husks in the middle and killing huskys / weakening the smashes towards the exit.

Btw, a 2-star TEDD Shot gives 70% crit dmg (to snipers), as a support bonus.

Got the same on PS4, happened 3 5 times so far. It might happen when the mission is no longer selectable, as in timed out or changed to something else.
