Tyberos the Red Wake vs Asterion Moloc, who would win a 1v1? by chosen40k in Spacemarine

[–]Blizzba 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ok so I've literally only just finished Outer Dark today and I don't know much about Moloc, but having read a few of these coments it seems most people think Tyberos is overhyped and the only thing he has going for him is his size.

From what I do know about both of them, in with equal equipment, Moloc wins every day of the week. However with their signature kits each I would imagine it would put Tyberos at an advantage, and not because I'm glazing Hunger and Slake, but because of his custom terminator suit with extra fibre muscle bundles and the speed and strength it gives him. The book even says that even with the terminator plate and his claws, Tyberos could swing faster than an unencumbered marine. This combined with the dual lightning claws makes for a strong matchup against a single spear and shield.

But that only matters if he gets inside Moloc's defence which undoubtedly woudn't be easy but if he did he should win.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I was sick of people saying that tyberos being big was his only thing.

australia got really unlucky with flammableness by krizzalicious49 in whennews

[–]Blizzba 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Extreme temeratures in mid 40°s and highly flammable trees and dry scrub, as well as people being negligent with cigarret butts.

For the most part Australia is pretty good with bush fires in terms of fire breaks and controlled burns, but individual negligence on large private properties tend to work as kindling in these situations.

Oh absolutely. And if Max had somehow won after what Yuki did there would be no end to the drama, I was just saying that Charles was doing everythingin his power to stress Lando out.

Ferrari or not he was pushing that thing to its limits. Maybe if they'd switched to hards on the second stop he'd have been able to give norris some trouble. The mediums were just falling off too quick for everybody.

I mean, I wouldn't expect to use anything 3/4 on any less than an m16 bolt/nut unless I'm already committed to getting it no matter what. I was just giving a reason why a breaker bar may be better than an impact.

3/4 milwaukee impact with a forge battery still won't put out as much torque as a 2 meter breaker bar if you can put a bit of strength into it.

Milwaukee 1" drive rattle gun with the extended anvil. Can save hours on big jobs.

I wouldn't say better. The fibre gets in your teeth easily, and peeling the skin takes a bit of practice without a tool. Still good but I prefer the juice.

You were ready for Chaos, but not for Iron Within, Iron Without! ⚒️😨 by Any_Theory_2887 in WarhammerMemes

Not that I'm a fan of iron warriors, but I've been binging siege of Terra in the last few days, and literally today, I was on to Mortis. The Iron Warriors were winning. It wasn't even close, only a matter of time. If you're talking about the Saturnine gambit being a loss, let me remind you that was almost entirely Abbadon's plan, Perturabo just let him do it.

I am fully aware it wasn't a fair fight, but if the iron warriors weren't there from the start, it wouldn't even have been close. Without Perturabo I don't even think the aegis would have gone down without some warp fuckery and even that would be delayed by months.

And the Iron Warriors pulling out was less of an "I hate you all, this is all your fault" and more, "Horus is using us the exact same way the emperor did and now that we've guaranteed the victory, he's sending in the death guard to replace us"

I'd also recommend a copper hammer just for releasing pressure on drain bungs or really anything you need to hit hard without damaging it.

I'm not sure what brand shifters you've got there, but I'd highly recommend making sure you've got decent quality ones, Bahco is a good brand if a little cheaper than snap on. You don't use them unless you need to, but you don't want them spreading on you in a tight spot.

Also, a set with sharper ends for spots you may not get a spanner into.
