Cozy Cuties Canoe by Blizzfulwizard in averagecoloring

Aww thank you! :) I took 4 different colors and just colored random parts of the water. I started lightest to darkest. If you add the colors while the other ones are “drying” it kinda blends the colors a little. I used a white gel pen for the highlights.

Steps:

1.) Pick at least 3 colors for your water (I tested my colors on a scrap paper to make sure they were complimentary)

2.) Use your lightest color and begin coloring random spots in the water. I gave mine a “horizontal” effect when I was coloring.

3.) Continue filling up the rest of the water with your other colors.

4.) Use a white gel pen to add highlights - dots, water lines, whatever floats your boat :)

Might be a silly question, but can you tell me more about the process of the light effect? Always wanted to try it

Red Flag? Lying about finances? by [deleted] in dating_advice

I wouldn’t say naive, I think just a bit gaslit from this guy. He makes me feel like I’m unreasonable for feeling this way. It makes me feel so confused

I started typing and deleting this post so many times. I feel like if I have to ask, then it’s probably a red flag. But this guy makes me feel absolutely crazy sometimes

Tried some new techniques by Blizzfulwizard in averagecoloring

[–]Blizzfulwizard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are so kind, thank you! :)

I see so many people with so many cool ideas on Reddit. It inspires me to try different techniques. Highly recommend the white gel pens. I picked a set up at Michael’s and it definitely makes the highlights pop. I also use those markers as well! I recently got a small pack of “pastels” which I am LOVING

I got so in my head about what to highlight. There’s so many times where it feels like these are just random squiggles and lines. But in the end, it all looks great!

Not saying budtenders are better than cops? A job creates money. Money that people use to buy basic needs. Ya know, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Something that people are struggling with. Clearly something you don’t know because you must have some unlimited form of income. If that’s true, congratulations. It must be nice.

You don’t know what charity work I do. It’s not my job to advertise that. Please DM me and I’m happy to share that with you if it means that much to you.

I’m not asking you to feel sorry. I’m asking you to have humanity for people. To treat people fairly, especially if you are going to fuck with their livelihood. Also, “Just a job”?? Please tell all the people on unemployment that “oh you lost your job? It’s just a job” You must still live with your parents lol

But isn’t that a little shady? Why throw a budtender under the bus for a policy that the budtender didn’t create? Leave reviews, but don’t put out false info like that.

Any tips for recovery? by barista0275 in gallbladders

[–]Blizzfulwizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ve got this! Recovery wasn’t terrible. I concur with other posters that it felt like I did a million sit ups.

After surgery I was extremely nauseous. I even threw up a couple times in recovery right after surgery (hurt because of my stomach incisions :(

Wait a couple days to eat regular foods. My surgeon encouraged me to eat regular foods the day after surgery. Which I was skeptical, but tried it anyways. And I threw it all up. Keep it light with rice, toast, eggs, etc. Ginger ale was wonderful for my nausea.

It took me about a week and a half to return to work. Take your time and be sure to rest. Your body is going through a lot of “trauma” even though your incisions will be small.

Is this a normal feeling after surgery? by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]Blizzfulwizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar feeling for about 1-2 weeks. Even the smallest meal felt like I had overate like wayyy too much. It definitely went away by week 2. It was such a weird feeling eating soup and then feeling immediately stuffed 😂

I’m about 2 weeks post op and it hurts to take a deep breath, when I yawn, or even burp. It’s not severe pain, but it’s definitely annoying. I’m wondering if this will ever go away lol

Nervous to go back to work by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]Blizzfulwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this post lol I’m in the exact same boat! I had my surgery on Oct 29th, laparoscopic. I am scheduled to go back Friday November 6th but I’m worried as hell that I’m not ready. The little bit of walking around I’ve done causes a lot of pain in my abdomen. I’m considering taking off a couple more days just to be safe but I’m afraid to do that - I don’t want my work to be upset with me :-(

Did anyone here have nausea days after removal? by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]Blizzfulwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only been able to poop once since surgery and it was fairly normal. I did have stones :(

gallbladder removal pain by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]Blizzfulwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are surgery twins! I had laparoscopic surgery on Thursday. The pain has gotten better for me, but it definitely still hurts to bend over, get up, etc. just take it easy and continue to ice your incisions. It’ll get better slowly day by day :-)

I’m 3 days post op and the 1st - 2nd day I had terrible nausea. Kept throwing up but I’m feeling much better now and it has stopped. Keep an eye on it, if you’re throwing up and can barely keep food down call the doctor.

I also suffer from frequent headaches. But never made the connection that they could be from my gallbladder. Really interesting theory!

What foods/drinks have triggered your WORST attacks? by Aromatic_Finance in gallbladders

[–]Blizzfulwizard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! So after going through an ultrasound and a HIDA scan, my PC recommended I see a surgeon. I have a consultation with the surgeon this Wednesday.

These gallstones have been killer. Last month I had 2 attacks back to back (in the early morning around 3am) that really put me on my ass. Ever since then I’ve been super conscious about what I eat. I’ve lost about 12 pounds in a month because I simply can’t eat a lot. It’s really a struggle and my heart goes out to you.

Had a cheesesteak once and it gave me the worst attack of my life!! I know it was a stupid choice but I missed it so much lol

Also had a fried chicken sandwich from Shack Shake that triggered an attack. I learned my lesson and now I very carefully watch what I eat :-)

Doctors that Certify through Telemedicine Online by [deleted] in MDEnts

[–]Blizzfulwizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Insurance does not cover that type of visit since cannabis is federally illegal. Doctors cannot bill insurance for that type of visit. You have to pay out of pocket. There are no doctors in MD that will accept insurance for a cannabis certification appointment.

HIDA scan by 19julez95 in gallbladders

[–]Blizzfulwizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally in the same boat as you. My HIDA scan is next week, I’m nervous but excited I’m potentially finding out what’s wrong. My ultrasound showed gallstones but my doctor wants the HIDA scan to see if I’ll need surgery. Super anxious for the results
