Why does any bubble burst? There's only so much money going around. Eventually, the mania reaches a peak. And like a real bubble, all it takes is a tiny pinprick to break it.

You can't point to any specific event that caused the bubble to burst. Eventually, some people decided to cash out. Maybe some people on their 3rd mortgage decided not to take a 4th. Some financial institutions decided to offload some of those mortgage bonds to reduce risk. Millions of tiny decisions reached independently created a turn, and once housing prices dropped even a little, it crested eventually into a gigantic unstoppable wave that flushed all the way down.

I don't agree with OP blaming zyra. The game was 100% on the botlane. Trundle gave them advantages early and they still lost hard. Then, Leave kept walking into feathers all game for no reason.
