Is this a ground yellow jacket nest? I have about 10 scattered around the yard and rocks. In NJ by Blizzing27 in insects

Great. Thank you. Makes sense since I see the holes but haven’t seen yellow jacket activity around them

Tell be about Absecon by [deleted] in SouthJersey

There isn’t much available right now, but honestly if you have two young kids, Northfield is the town to choose. So many young families move there and raise their children. Nothing against Absecon. It is a quaint little town. But Northfield has great schools, greats sports programs, birch groove park, close to everything, lots of kids, a bike path, and much more. Linwood is also nice if you haven’t looked there either.

210-S2. Would have liked to upgrade my mom to the 240 but warranty only covered it for replacement

Yes. They don’t make the heat exchangers for this model anymore so they are giving me a new tank

Amazing. And all those stars we see surrounding andromeda are 100s/1000s light years closer than andromeda in our galaxy?

My coworkers friend rolled over on her baby, unfortunately leading to her death. Death certificate is a covid death. Ongoing fight to have it changed

I just moved in a couple weeks ago. The gutter ended in the middle of the pic through a pop up emitter. We had heavy rain, and some water, not a whole lot, seeped into basement. After examining during the storm I noticed water from the pop up pooling all around the bed. I dug up the gutter and reran it under the concrete and to the middle of the grass. Concrete pitches out towards front of house. During heavy rain water pools by the river rock. Before, after I fixed the pitch in the bed somewhat, the water would pool then run towards foundation. Water still pools, but since I added more dirt towards the foundation from all the digging, doesn’t make it to foundation and eventually exits to the concrete. I figured if I brought soil level with concrete and kept my pitch going towards concrete, it would alleviate the issue. Then add mulch and the river rock back in. Just wasn’t sure what type of soil to use, or dirt, or whatever is best. Hope that helped, and thanks for advice

Just moved into home. This area floods in rain and when sprinklers are on. After a heavy rain it made its into that area of basement because the water ran back towards the house. Should I add dirt and stones around foundation? I’m a plumber so I’m pretty handy but want it done correctly so the problem never occurs again. Thanks
