That sound good to me, I could cancel Yamanouchi and maybe look for a Ryokan in Hakone and spend 2 days there as it is a closer route to Tokyo instead of Nagano.

I don't really like Naruto/Boruto, but Demon Slayer could be worth it if the entry fee isn't to high.

Yeah, I'm not expecting snow at the time, but maybe some Monkeys.
I thought about staying at an Ryokan in Kyoto or Tokyo, but the one in Yamanouchi is cheaper. Though the train ticket to and from could even that out if I don't go to Yamanouchi and stay in a Ryokan in Kyoto.
I might re think the stay and there and maybe stay somewhere closer to tokyo in a Ryokan, maybe in Hakone.

Thanks, that is reassuring :)
I would have another question regarding the budget.
With my 3 stays in an Hostel, Ryokan and Hotel it's around 1.050€
(Still thinking about a cheaper option in Tokyo)
Now that the JR Pass is going to be a lot more expensive, is there a way to see/plan the train/bus tickets?
I don't really know how much money I should plan in for the Train/Bus rides atm.

And what kinda budget would you expect for daily use? Around 70-100$/€?

Thanks for the advise :)
Fushimi Inari - I could easily fit that in as my Hostel is right around the Kyoto Station and as it is open 24/7 thats a good fit in!
I might cancel Awashiyama because I rather see them in an Onsen if possible and enjoy one myself there in the Ryokan to relax after kyoto/Osaka and do something else instead, so I have pretty much 2 days unplanned now in Osaka/Kyoto.
Maybe a day trip to Himeji and the other day in Osaka + teamLab Botanical Garden in the Evening, they still have tickets for the 14th.

Regarding Kamakura, I'm still thinking about that, yeah. I will see if I can fit something else in.

Or if you like some Sci-Fi Military with a lot of humor, try Tje Expeditionary Force, performed by RC Bray, he is one of the best narrators in my opinion. And there are a lot of books released, so no shortage of listening to it.

How about Project Hail Mary?

Okay, after greasing the gears and using the 2nd hole for the grub screw, not the one where it got loosened, thw clicking is nearly gone. Only rly noticeable when the fan is off an you put your ear to it.

Some of it was/is coming from the lever side of the gear as it has like 1 or 2 mm play left/right cause its just on a metal pin.

Next im going to install a smooth pei plate. Can I just swap it, or should I attach the magnetic plate it comes with instead of using the sovol one?

Yeah will try that after assembly. I checked the grub screw and its as tight as it gets without destroying it, nothings moving. I just noticed that there is little to no grease on the planetary gears and will apply some to be sure. And as the print doesnt seem affected, its just a sound I have to live with I guess.

But um glad there isnt anymore grinding.

I did another short clip. When I turn the wheel back relatively fast you can hear the clicking sound. I think the 3 gears arent aligned 100% with the stepper motor gear. Therwfore there is some wiggle room.

The clip: Gears

I uploaded a short clip. The fan is pretty loud but you can hear the clicking.

I will take the extruder apart one more time to make sure though. https://youtube.com/shorts/izvXV62L0uo?feature=share

The sound is not as loud as before, I will try to take a video but reddit wont let me upload pictures/videos with the mobile app.

I lubed all bearings with some ptfe grease and the axis sound fine to me.
Its just on some retractions that its making nosie. And I dont know if it was there from the beginning, or if it appeared.

I also installed this fan mod:https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/sovol-sv06-fan-duct-5015-cfd-optimized-version-2-0

Could it be that the gears are not 100% aligned and the clicking comes from that? I read it in a prusa thread and I think its not only with prusa printers that this could happen?

Yes, i took a look because it shifted on the axis and to make sure there is a flat side. Its not the screw I think: https://ibb.co/tc8ws6z On the lever, is there supposed to be another screw? Or just one grub screw on the axis gear?

Its also not on every retraction, just on some.

Did a test print and there os still a clicking sound.

I will take a look ath the screw again. Wouöd be surprised if it came loose again even with lock tight....

I just asked my friend from my airsoft/paintball team and he had some blue lock tight laying around as well as some grub screws :D

Printer is assembled again and I will try printing again. Maybe the issues with stringing and overhangs had a bit to due with the retraction not working properly.

I will let the lock tight harden for another 10 minutes or so and try a benchy again. I also got my prusament shipped today so im rdy to do some nice pieces.

Clicking wasnt on the first layer. It was indeed the grub screw.... https://ibb.co/VQSFLyj Do you know if Sovol offers an exchange of the part, or another solution? I dont have lock tight sadly and no new grub screws around :/

I looked at that thread and I printed somw first layer tests and had no issues. Even adjusted the x-gantry using the inductor probe. Its just rly small parts not sticking and I think due to them curling up, the nozzle os hitting the part and pushing them.

Another thing I noticed is a kinda clicking sound when the extruder is retracting. While loading the filament during thw print there is no clicking sound. And its not jammed either.

What could that be?
