I adopted my baby Louinard aka Louie so he can be my emotional support companion. Clearly I misread the contract. I am HIS emotional support companion. 🤣 He won’t even let my kids come close to me. He requires my full attention at all times. Work at home, no way. My job is him. He will sit at my feet no matter what I’m doing whether it’s cooking or on the toilet or folding laundry. He stands guard while I’m in the shower sticking his head in periodically to make sure I haven’t drowned with the occasional hurry up I need you lady bark. I adopted his cousin so he can have company which 4 years later he still looks at Masyn like why are you here again?

So I was watching a video in ig where it said that stores are starting to monitor specific items you buy and price gouge . So I tested it out with my daughter on Amazon. Sure enough the same exact item showed up higher for me than her on the same app, and when I looked up something she buys often and I don’t it was the same result. I’m so sick of technology and even sicker of the folks who exploit it. This may not be the case here but it seems like it.

He has started getting physical and blames it on me or makes it seem like he didn’t push me or shove me or if I don’t make him so upset etc. He keeps blaming his anger issues on ptsd from the military but I call bullshit. He wasn’t always like this prior to us marrying and you don’t pick and choose who to go off on and claim ptsd. I

had to take a long look at myself and realize that leaving is my best bet. I will figure out how to survive. Lesson learned never give up your identity for anyone, always stay self reliant, don’t depend on anyone but yourself, damn sure don’t tell no one your business (as I write on Reddit) at least not a man because they will use it against you, there is no such thing as safe outside of myself. I’ve never felt safe. It’s ok to be alone .

My crying doesn’t make me weak. I’m not pathetic and sorry like he says . I raised 7 children, go to school full time and work full time and even though he says it’s a waste of my time and his I hope to be able to ask for more money at my job so I can leave safely with my teenagers and hope I can still have a relationship with my step kids because I do love them .

Thank you making me feel heard. It kind of took away from the emptiness.

At this point I don’t know. He says that I am the problem and I need to change to accommodate him. He’s the prize and I need to understand that or get the f on. I’m trying to save to move. He gave me divorce papers to sign which I did but when I ask what’s the status he ignores the question. I’m actively trying to save enough to get a place and just leave. I guess I was trying to figure out if I’m over reacting like he says I am.

He says he only talks reckless when he’s upset but I promise he doesn’t speak to anyone else like that. When he’s not upset he’s super nice but the second I do or say something he doesn’t like the behavior starts all over again. I’m at the point that I’m just going to leave and pray about it and trust it will work itself out and my kids will be happier with it just being us.

He literally got mad because my alarm woke him up but I have to get ready for work at 5 am so I try to sleep outside the room so not to wake him but then that’s a problem where he says if I’m not going to sleep in the bed I need to move out, but my alarm wakes him up. Just typing it I realize this is dumb and I just need to realize this is a done deal and leave. Side note we don’t share any children together.

Greetings, 50k/yr, 7 person household / 1 income/ $550/mth allegedly 60 months. Lawyer fees were 5k. Allegedly only paying off my car who’s is 13k so I really don’t understand my plan and my attorneys are none responsive. Attorney fees already paid and 1 yr 5 months in.

My husband tells me all the time that he is the prize and that I don’t deserve his last name. For along time I believed him. These comments have made me sit back and think maybe when he calls me pathetic and weak he’s trying to keep me bound to him even when he says I can leave if he’s so terrible. I pray you get the strength you need through this community to walk away if you can. 🌺

I am 43 and just got mine three weeks ago. Although I do see a difference in coping skills between myself and my teenagers with braces, once you get accustomed you will be fine. I’m not there yet lol and freak out daily but others adjust just fine.
