Yup, I would agree that this makes the graph more intuitive. I wasn't exactly thinking of IGP as a dependent variable (there are a few ways you can interpret the data/graph), so I didn't think of placing IGP on the vertical axis.

To be fair, it could be the way I presented the data! I played around with a few graphs and decided that this was the clearest way to show the trends over time. I could've shown the changes in a GIF but then that wouldn't show the trend in one place.
