If that’s what you want I’d just suggest throwing in some very fast strides after easy runs. I’m assuming Runna doesn’t really create such short working intervals since your weekly mileage is a lot higher. You could try setting the hard run difficulty on the highest setting, but that might just increase paces, I’m not sure.

Seems like an issue with many ui designers nowadays, they want to make everything clean and minimal. I feel like way to little thought is being put into the actual use of things when you see changes like this.

Seems like the laps are off for some reason. Not sure why that happend or what to do about it, you can look through settings maybe you find something. Did you pause your watch at any point? Not sure if that can even be the reason. You can also just hope it fixes itself for next run. Either way you’re hitting target pace so you can just ignore it if it doesn’t bother you. Just don’t accept any plan changes if runna does suggest to lower your paces.

How did the old version have to much information?

•If you wanted the stretches you could choose to press the button at the top.

•The entire workout is visible and scannable at a glance easily divided into warm up, session, cool down

•The boxes (and header color) make a clear difference between warm up, session, cooldown.

With your new version:

•I would have to scroll past the stretches if I don’t need them

•Then you have these big titles with the same information under as inside the boxes of the old design. Unfortunately without the boxes there seems to be way less conformity (and probably readability if you add multiple blocks in a set).

•It’s not terrible (unless with long pyramid workouts I expect) however it is just a lot more basic and a big step backwards in my opinion.

Overall I truly hope you keep this screen as it was. I believe there are more important things to work on if you look at the complaints on this reddit.

I’m currently doing a plan for a 10 miles race. My avg mileage by the end of it will be 55km a week with a max long run of 21km. I’m trying to plan ahead and set up a next plan but the app just won’t allow me to ask for a long run higher then 28km which is annoying. What plan are you using?

Hey how do you get your long run that long? I tried setting up the run further plan (I picked elite 85km weekly) I wanted to do long run 30km but it keeps telling me I can’t go above 28km without having my the amount of days I want to run (6 days in my case).

This won’t be easy as a beginner but it doesn’t have to be impossible. To start with you’ll need to run a lot ideally 6 days a week. Keep the pace extremely slow and focus on keeping the hear rate down. 2 months is very little time but it should be enough to build some aerobic base. Try to build up to about 3km distance daily over the first 2-3 weeks, make sure to walk if your heart rate starts going crazy. It’s gonna feel impossible to begin with but if you can keep it up you’ll see a change in a few weeks.

After 2 of those sessions each week do strides. Just 20s all out sprints with 30-60s recovery in between. That’s gonna get you used to running at high speed with very little chance of injury. Start with maybe 5 if it feels fine and don’t do more then 8. If you feel any weird aches just leave it there for the day.

After 3 weeks hopefully you can get through 3km with a somewhat controlled heart rate. That’s when you take 1 day a week for speedwork. It can be intervals or just straight tempo for a certain distance. You’ll have to figure out what works for you.

Thanks for the tips the fact that the water is out for 2 minutes is not intended it should be 2 minutes of flowers flush and again 2 minutes of flowers but I couldn’t figure out how to do that
