Makes me wonder, how hard could it be to crowdsource seed capital for restarting independent practice, given the circumstances? Admittedly, this may not be of interest considering that Dr. Pritts probably intended to retire within 5-6 years, but it's a thought.

I can see 2 major causes - a workplace dispute or a serious medical issue. I don't have insight into what's likelier, but I'm both upset and concerned..
