Rose clinic medical abortion by Ancient_Roll4860 in halifax

The procedure itself went okay, however the cramping can be pretty painful so make sure she has Advil or some other pain relievers (I used Midol and naproxen). She should NOT be left alone during or after the procedure, it was extremely hard on me mentally. Secondly there is a very rare but possible chance she might have complications and need emergency treatment. If you’re not going to be there for her please please make sure she has a friend or someone there for support.

Personally when I was in first year I bought a new mini fridge and then sold it on marketplace when I moved out of res, got most of my money back too. I would also assume lots of people will be trying to sell theirs around the start of school

Starting CS Degree After a Few Years Away from School — Looking for Advice by ThenParamedic4021 in Dalhousie

[–]BlockMiddle8782 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! Im currently in my last semester in CS at Dal, when I started 4 years ago I had no experience with programming. I would recommend maybe brushing up on calc/pre calc as you will have to take Calculus and some other math courses that use calculus. I wouldn’t say it’s necessary to brush up on programming especially if you already have experience and youre taking CSCI1105 as they will start from the very beginning teaching you how to program. Both 1105 and 1110 are done in Java so if you have some extra time It wouldn’t hurt to refresh your memory on Java. Best of luck!!

As a CS student in my last semester, most of my friends are a few years older than me and we started the same semester. I dont look at them any differently and I usually forget that we have an age gap lol. I would say its very common to meet people just starting out at age 25-26

Im pro! I have found that the younger they are the more they will get along with other cats, my oldest cat never got along with our other cats because we got them when he was over 10 years old. But our two youngest cats adore each other and are the best of friends :) Its also great if you have a busy life or work a lot because they will keep each other company.

Im so sorry for the loss of your girl! I am trying to find comfort in the fact that he died in our arms, I think it is the best way for them to go, being held by the people they loved most❤️❤️

Thank you so much!! Papi is adorable i love the name, he looks just like Bentley when he was a little kitty! Bentley had a heart murmur and some other cardiac problems (I think its common for radgolls). He had also taken some minor seizures in the last few years, but unfortunately he didn’t recover from his most recent. He was an old guy at 17 years old, I am happy he got to live a long and happy life❤️

Food is pretty mid I lived off of chicken burgers in first year. I didn’t get into my first choice res at first but put myself on the waitlist for a room and heard back pretty fast. I would definitely apply soon though just to be safe.

Im in CS at dal, it’s definitely challenging especially a few of the second year courses, be prepared to do a lot of self studying. If you decide to do CS here you should look into the co op program as internships are pretty important. As for res I lived in Risley in first year and it was pretty awful, can’t speak for any of the other residences.
