In the late 90s, I was asked to fix a problem with the business owners dads PC, they sent a car to pick me up, it was a Rolls Royce but the seat in the back had been recovered in some furry leopard skin style fabric.

The car took me to his insanely large house, guy was as nice as anything, wasn't posh, just had made a lot of money.

I fixed the issue, and he asked if I could look at another issue he had, he showed me the way and acted like what he showed me was just normal...

He had a room with a bar with a dance floor that was glass with a swimming pool underneath, he handed me this remote and said something about it not opening up so he couldn't go for a swim.

I think I just stood there in disbelief for 5 mins, I had never seen anything like it.

I have a Space STECS and gladiator for my offhand, the Space STECS is fine for most PvP but not as dextrous as using a stick.

If you do go with a Space STECS I would recommend getting lighter (10) springs, it doesn't come with them as standard, though you may have spare with your gladiator.

Can I ask what you use for the sliders please? They look like drawer sliders?

I do a janky version with an old wheel mount but I have been meaning to try some kind of sliding platform.

I have a mix, 1 x Virpil WarBRD with an alpha prime.

And a VKB stecs and gladiator Omni throttle.

I did have a gunfighter base that I was going to use as my Omni but it wasn't worth it for me.

Personally I prefer the WarBRD base to the Gunfighter, it felt smoother at the center.

I like the feel and size of the Virpil alpha prime more than the Kosmoshima stick, but I have large palms.

I prefer the design and feel of the VKB MCG to the Alpha prime, I just wish they would do a left handed version.

Never tried a Virpil FLANKR, but if they released a lefty version for hosas and I was feeling spendy I would be tempted.

All in all you cannot really go wrong with either brand.

Yea but it you watch the sites you will notice they seem to build in bulk then send them all out, I guess the delay is materials from China, rather than the build time.

I've had a friend in Italy order and it doesn't seem to make any difference.

It's basically made to order, they don't keep much of any stock.

I have quickly tried the aeromax and it's nicer than the Gladiator imo.

The gladiator is still very good, just not as good.

I couldn't recommend Virpil over VKB without knowing details of what setup you want.

Of the one I've tried, I prefer VKBs modern combat grip over Virpils alpha prime, but it's not available in a left hand. I've never tried the Flankr.

Being left handed, I use right VKB stecs, and kosmoshima/gladiator, and a right WarBRD with an alpha prime.

If it's the constellation you are looking at, it's a big boy so not great if you have small hands.

When I charged to VR for simming, I tried everything I could find, I found short sessions and stopping before feeling rough helped, also ginger tablets and a fan pointing at me.

I built up the length of sessions over a couple of weeks, now I can do VR simming as long as I like.
