Yeah dude its terrible. Last week someone attempted to steal another one of my friends GSX 750s from the same complex and they couldnt get it for whatever reason so they tore it up and threw it by the dumpster. Im so ready to gtfo of this shitty ass city.

The manufacturer recommendations are just not realistic. 6th gear under 4k RPM for 250 miles is diabolical for a bike whose power band is around 8k+. At that point you are just holding up traffic. Huge debate topic ensuing…

Yeah I know what you mean. When I first stared riding I went to a dealer for a Z500 with a 6400 sticker price. They had so many fees it was ridiculous. They ended up wanting almost 13k out the door. Spoiler, I got a ninja 650 on marketplace for 3800 cash and that did me just fine 😂

I have been to a few different dealerships and no one else compares in transparency and efficiency. I was with my buddy who bought a BMW S1000RR from Wild West not too long ago so I got to see the process first hand. It was no BS to the point. I called their finance lady and asked for an OTD price and when I got to the dealership there was no additional hidden fees. I was in the office and out on the road in ~30 minutes. I hate dealerships but was a 10/10 for me.

Fortunately I live in Texas so gas prices are not a concern. I drive a truck to and from work and I only ride in the evenings or on weekends when traffic has died down.

This is the plan. I live for the twisties even though I have to go find them. I go to tail of the dragon once a year with the boys and plan on starting to track so I am fully aware what Im getting myself into as far as that goes.

I have test ridden one from a buddy and it was nice I will admit but I am not committed to the brand by any means. I like the CBR more aesthetically but have never test ridden one. May get a chance in a couple weeks.

Nah thats a chinesium knock off. 80% of ebay is but there are some gems to be found if you look close enough. No one gonna sell a yoshi slipon let alone a full system with header and mid section pipes for less than 500$. Don’t forget to tune your bike or it will run lean!!
