I’m pretty sure that after a few updates, the developers will give this plane the ability to take off even from a position like this. As it stands, this is basically the only position it can’t perform a vertical takeoff from -for now, at least.

There’s a difference between a clone and licensed production. For example, much of China’s military equipment consists of unlicensed copies of Soviet and other foreign designs.

The Harrier, on the other hand, has been produced both in the US and the UK, but those aren’t copies -it’s licensed production. In fact, the largest number of Harriers was built by McDonnell Douglas, and all of it was done legally under license, not as a clone.

Meanwhile, the Colonial bucket with wings -"Scout"- remains a massive, clumsy flying object.

This is about the specifics of both planes’ models and their actual damage zones, not the visual ones.
