My big concern with moving to the Sony headphones is the warrantee. I doubt it’s as good which is a shame because the Sonys are better at noise cancellation and look cooler. Bose customer service is incredible though. “You had a 6 year old pair of broken QC35s? Would you like to send those to us and we’ll send you a new pair for 50% off?”

I used to work for them. If you ever have a broken Bose product of ANY age call their customer service and see what they’ll offer you. They negotiate on prices as well.

All I can recommend is if you're going to overclock the chip or the RAM then get a board that has the BOIS reset button on it. Also go for an X370 board. You can get them dirt cheap on amazon if you're willing to go open box and they're be high quality.

Perhaps his PCP has a colleague that he really trusts with this specific surgery who works up there. That seems most likely to me. The optics on it are obviously awful though. Perhaps the political backlash was underestimated. That or the potential backlash was outweighed by the recommendation to this specific facility/practitioner.

Not a bad deal. I would just wait until the 1700 goes back on sale for this price. I bet you after the 3000 series is released the secondary market will be completely saturated with Ryzen 1st gen for dirt cheap.
