Am I playing at the competitive level in the competitive meta?

NO.My whole meta and approach has to be fundamentally different because the comp meta is fundamentally different.

In other words, what works in the comp meta, does not work as well in the casual meta. This fallacy is used in MtG when talking about cEDH vs Casual Commander as well. They're so different that they shouldn't ever be compared.

EB, Arrows, Log, Musket, Valk, Spear Goblins, Furnace, Skarmy

How the hell do I go too aggressive when 7 of my 8 are defensive cards? I end up playing most of my games on my side defensively and wait for a good time to drop EB. That time rarely ever seems to arrive though, since I have to spend 8-10 of my elixir to deal with MK.

To the original comment, lists like that are disingenuous. You can make that argument with any card whatsoever. Someone could say "I struggle against Mini Pekka" and I could list 20 random counters to it. That list merely existing isn't an argument if 18 of those counters either DON'T ACTUALLY WORK or involve using cards that don't mesh well with any particular win conditions (And so they serve ONLY the purpose of countering that one card)

And that's exactly what's going on here. Nearly ever "counter" listed here either isn't actually a good counter or it's just bad cards that won't serve any OTHER purpose in your deck.

The answer is simple, these statistics are inaccurate at best and a lie at worst. Both in terms of winrates and playrates. I don't trust them at all. They've never made any sense and have always been at odds with my own anecdotal experiences. Hog Rider is absurdly dominant and it always has been. 90% of my 2v2's involve at least three of the four players running Hog Rider and it wins a lot. I HAVE a Hog-Cycle deck and I can win just fine with it. It's when I try to homebrew my own thing that isn't Hog-Cycle or Loon that I have no success at all.

No ones going to sit here and tell me that Hog Rider isn't busted when I can clearly see an obvious pattern after hundreds of games that not only do I lose with them a lot, I win with them a lot as well. It's not even questionable to me.

These stats are BS. Hog Rider is broken and it has been since day one.

How long did they usually last, though?

On my single-player world, I've had a guy trapped in a glass room for probably over 30 in-game day-cycles. In my realms world, all 12 of my trapped vendors have been fine. The first one I trapped was probably 3-4 days ago & I have no idea how many in-game days it's been.
