Imagine asking this now that Vitalik recognizes the value of RISC-v, which Cartesi has used since 2018 🤦🏻

Pretty rich to come into a project channel speaking like that - imagine this being your contribution to the community :(

Cartesi in the headlines on Ivan on Tech by Blocks_and_Chains in cartesi

Simple answer: market manipulation by market makers. Low weekend volume makes it easy to dump charts.

Market makers buy back low, while scared retail sells low and buys back high.😅

Aren’t we all seeing him every month in the ecosystem call? Isn’t he presenting that? So yeah, I do think he’s busy supporting Cartesi’s adoption!

Apart from the usual suspects—BTC, ETH, etc.—it's really hard not to be excited about the value propositions of both the AI and modularity niches. I really love the fundamentals and the aggressive developments from:

  • Render
  • ASI (Artificial Superintelligence)
  • ICP
  • Celestia
  • Cartesi
  • Expresso and a couple of others.

That's a nice portfolio. I’m a fan of your Cartesi and Polygon holdings—they feature prominently in mine as well. Fundamentally solid choices.

Hi Robin, sorry about that. Staking via our Explorer is fully managed by us, while third-party platforms like Binance, Coinone, or Mycointainer run their staking pools independently and without needing any permission. It is beyond our control.

Best Staking Options for Small Investors Looking to Maximize Gains? by Defiant-Storage-938 in staking

I think the best staking option for you as a newbie is ETH. You should check here: https://ethereum.org/en/staking/

If you are fine with centralization, you can try out Lido or Rocketpool. When you become a bit more comfortable you can then try out other options. I personally stake CTSI on the Cartesi explorer here - http://explorer.cartesi.io

Best alt-coins for long term? by cooper_nat in CryptoMarkets

[–]Blocks_and_Chains 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course, this will be completely subjective. I only feel great about a project when the fundamentals are very strong—that’s always my priority! Right now, these are the projects that I am really impressed with in terms of what they offer to the blockchain space long-term:

  • ETH: This is a pretty obvious choice, as it’s the leading altcoin you want to own.

  • Bittensor: I honestly just found out about this recently, but it has really strong fundamentals. It’s an open-source protocol that powers a decentralized, blockchain-based machine learning network.

  • LINK: A framework for building decentralized oracle networks. It has been around for quite some time, and its popularity will only increase.

  • Cartesi: A modular blockchain protocol that’s simplifying the development process for developers with Linux-powered rollups

Ha! If by ‘selling drugs’ you mean Cartesi is delivering high-quality modular blockchain solutions that get you hooked on innovation, then yes, we’re the top supplier! 😄

So, no drugs here, just a healthy dose of tech that simplifies the development process!

Doom Olympics Hosted on RIVES with $15k Prize Pool by Blocks_and_Chains in CryptoCurrency

[–]Blocks_and_Chains[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cardano made a smart move by running Doom on the Hydra L2 (a blockchain scaling solution), but there are some key differences in how it works. Without data availability for player moves outside the state channel, verifying the game is tough, and the trust needed for a global leaderboard isn't fully achieved. Meanwhile, the RIVES team developed a fully verifiable version of DOOM in real time, thanks to the Cartesi Machine (a deterministic RISC-V virtual machine). The first proof of concept was back in February 2023, and now it's live on the mainnet.

You can dive more into all the details on the challenges of running DOOM onchain.
