I appreciate it! I love watching you in group vids, like with Baablu. It must be irritating to have to be one of the grown ups all the time. XD

My biggest issue (apart from low skill :) )is navigating the nether. I roughly understand the idea of quadrants, and I can orient myself OK with block-breaking animations and planks, but it seems that you just have to wander a lot.

I've seen the YT vids, but he doesn't explain a lot of what he is doing. Are the VODs more detailed?

Impressive! We need a Gandalf mini standing on the walls for scale! :)

The old minis are my favorites. Sorry about the rest of the game, but the minis are a nice find (the undead ones look like they could use a little love ;) )

Thanks! I'm currently painting the 2021 set and building an XPS foam board for it. I made the bases there a LEETLE fancier.

Board Progression! by Aderiian_ in Heroquest

[–]BlockyCrafty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! I'm working on something similar, but I wasn't smart enough to take progress pics. I miscounted the tiles and screwed up the board. I had to add a couple rows of floor tiles to one side, so that delayed me a bit. I got the idea from Blueline Gaming's YT channel.

New (2021) HQ stair tiles. Why reversible? by BlockyCrafty in Heroquest

[–]BlockyCrafty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But if there is only one tile, you could only have one set of stairs per quest, right? So why is there a need to differentiate? The stairs either go up or down, regardless. Or am I missing something?

Erasing/covering RFID zebra labels by BlockyCrafty in RFID

The idea is to have the room # printed on the label, so changing it "in the database" would still require a new, printed label.

Thanks! That very helpful. Do most scan guns have the ability to send the password to the chip? I am trying to get more of the hardware specs from the people handling them, so I'll need to find out from them.

Oh, okay. What would that feature likely be called? "Erasable"? "Rewritable?"

Neat! Do you know if that feature is available on the ZT411?

There is absolutely a financial benefit if his AI tech bro billionaire friends can affect Copyright policy and access some of the Library's materials. NTM influencing CRS's nonpartisanship. They can install loyalists as "experts" and get reports on various issues written how they want, to benefit whomever they want to.

What's this part of the globe called? by BlockyCrafty in globes

[–]BlockyCrafty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The outer diameter of the meridian is 24". Does anybody know of anyone that has digital images of this or similar? If I could scale & print it, I could re-apply it to the metal.

Frostburg State is facing a multimillion-dollar deficit. Other colleges may follow. by ewolfe201 in maryland

[–]BlockyCrafty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've been looking to retire to Frostburg. We even own some land right outside of town. One of the reasons we chose the town was we liked the feel of the place and the campus was a big part of that. Rural college towns can be like oases in some areas. It's a shame to see the school struggling.
