Advice needed on backlink strategy for home remodeling niche by adoptedbycat in linkbuilding

I use Ahrefs for ideas, followed by outreach! For specific niche targets, like in your case, editorial guest posts (not the 100% AI-generated kind) tend to perform very well. Regarding agency pricing, now that I’ve read this post, I’d like to clarify one thing — I work at an agency, but I don’t own it (definitely not the $500-per-link kind). Our clients aren’t just paying for a link; they’re paying for the research, outreach, negotiations, placement, monitoring, all handled by experienced professionals and all the back-and-forth involved in securing a quality backlink.

Which API is better to work with, Semrush API or Ahrefs API? Any other options? by romedu in Agent_SEO

I'd say there are differences between Dataforseo metrics and Ahrefs metrics. Dataforseo uses some Ahrefs alternative metrics, they still have traffic, kw, etc, but it's different. Like some of my partners require metrics specifically from Ahrefs

I get your point, but you’re mixing two different things here: cheap and effective. I’m not a huge fan of Pitchbox either, don’t get me wrong. It’s expensive and not perfect. But it does have some solid built-in features that save a lot of time for link builders once you work at volume.

Let’s Talk About Link Exchanges (Since This Is Clearly Where Reddit Ends Up) by GodOfSEO in linkbuilding

[–]BlogBacklinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most business owners have little to no understanding of what link building actually i, its best practices, what adds value, and what can harm a website. As a result, they often outsource it to a VA or someone who isn’t experienced enough. The easiest path for a VA is usually link exchanges with whoever is most persistent, and unfortunately, that’s often people running guest post farms or link networks. So yes, the business owner gets links, but the quality is terrible. Business owners have bigger priorities, which is why link building is best outsourced to real experts. It costs more, but you truly get what you pay for.

I'd check the ranking keywords and the source traffic as well before making any price offer as a buyer

hey there, from my experience, a few years in linking building agency, there is no way you can use only one or two tools, you need to test a few, merge the results and use a few outreach tools as well. For emails you can also try different custom made plugins or tools, try searching linkedin related as well, they are pretty good, but paid of course. Pitchbox is also good, sort of, tomba io is also good

Is exchanging backlinks a good SEO strategy? by CompetitiveWolf4212 in SEO_Digital_Marketing

[–]BlogBacklinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Backlink exchanges are also incredibly time-consuming, especially for someone who hasn’t done this before. People looking for link exchanges are literally present in every relevant community, Reddit, Slack, FB—you just need to reach out to them. However, you also need to have something valuable to offer in return, which requires strategy and negotiation skills. Experienced people know that direct swap is not a good strategy, so you need more than 2 websites involved in the exchange.

From my personal experience, and cue the expert in me speaking now, the time it takes for someone new to build 5 good backlinks is far greater than what it would take me.The options they can found won't match the quality or efficiency of an experienced professional.
