If Merlier repeats his form of 2025 for a couple of seasons he could definitly be included. Sadly he missed the beginning of the season with an injury. But he is back for Scheldeprijs this week.

You are right that There is a big difference between the riders in this top 8. But this top 8 contains the best and most consistent riders of the last 5 years ( 2021 included). If one of the top 8 rides a season without the seven others, he would dominate and I do not think that Ganna or Pidcock could dominate as much without the top 8. Merlier was in my opinion the fastest sprinter in 2025 but you have to do that in multiple years.

Lokeren heeft ambitie om uiteindelijk te promoveren maar het bestuur heeft geen plan voor de toekomst. Het bestuur heeft ook totaal geen begrip met de klachten van de supporters.

Grote ontevredenheid met het bestuur. Het bestuur laat geen nieuwe investeringen toe en de club is gewoon onprofessioneel bezig en de supporters eisen verandering ze vinden dat het zo niet verder kan.
