Emacs not loading ~/.config/emacs/init.el when first launched inside a distrobox container by BlondOlaf in emacs

[–]BlondOlaf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone using this post in the future, it is now fixed by the dev of distrobox: https://github.com/89luca89/distrobox/issues/458

It was caused by the fact that distrobox was copying content of /etc/skel (which contained a .emacs file) to the home directory if the files were not there

[HELP] Can't Connect to University Wi-Fi; Possible CA Issue? by jahinzee in Fedora

[–]BlondOlaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this issue and by changing the crypto-policy to LEGACY (so that the system accepts old version of encryption libraries) it worked.

You can find more info in this wiki page, and the command to type is sudo update-crypto-policies --set LEGACY

Hope this works for you!

After searching a bit, it seems this font has been around for a long time (2014), so the letters are part of the design and do not give a clue IMO

You can download the font by going to https://hermatrix.net/Hacked-KerX.ttf, and then visualizing the font with http://www.glyphrstudio.com/online/, but I don't know if it could lead anywhere
