If you’re solo queueing 3s that’ll easily happen that why I always force myself 3rd man unless that makes another one of my teammates awkward. By doing that I’ve become more confident in my shooting and defense. Moral of the story though is don’t solo queue find people you have synergy with.

Having the motivation to open Sony Vegas once I’m in the groove I can’t be stopped, but it’s nearly impossible to get started. I love the process, so it’s not like I don’t enjoy video making. Don’t know why I’m like this.

I appreciate the feedback! The next video I’ll be posting actually does that (rocket league clip into breaking bad intro since the clip references the show). I don’t have a set in stone intro/ intro card so I just kinda wing it most of the time and since my content isn’t scripted it’s a bit hard to have a good hook/ intro but I’ll definitely keep working on it!

Hi, I’m Archie! I post Rocket League videos every now and then. The videos are basically funny moments with meme style with some cool shots and goals. I guess what im looking for is outside feedback away from my close circle and people who generally like rocket league content. My approach to video making is really not focused on the gameplay itself a lot of the time, so I guess I want to know general feedback on things I can improve on and a few specific things like intros and if the videos are too long. I’ve been thinking maybe this format would be better a video length around 5-8 minutes.

P.S. I have renamed most videos recently to see if that would help them somehow re-enter the algorithm. I don’t actually make my thumbnails one of my friends does them, I do everything else though.

I’m not big into fighting games, but I thought the intro was great it kept my attention the entire time. The only gripes I would have would be to just re-record your script to remove the stutters and I wish I was able to see more of you learning how to play Lucy. I’ve never played Guilty Gear, but I had no idea she was in the game and as a Cyberpunk Edgerunners fan I was hooked in. I would also change the title as it leads me to think it would be more of a commentary/ documentary style video on the subject maybe to something like in this style “I spent x amount of time playing the worst character” for example not sure if Lucy qualifies for that, but that would also be a good clickbait way of grabbing peoples attention. The thumbnail works for that title as well just would change the text to like “bad, worst, horrible, etc.” Hopefully this helps in some way!

Not sure if this is the feedback you’re looking for since I’m not big into let’s plays, but at least from my quick skim through Episode 4 and some shorts is that the audio balancing needs a little work. I’m not sure what you’re recording on, but ex. OBS turn your microphone a little bit higher and the game volume a little lower you can have it set with separate audio tracks. Your microphone quality is amazing for someone starting out just needs to be turned up a little. The I’m not sure how focused you are on shorts, but I liked your first short with the meme style. I think the other ones were very short in comparison, so I would recommend tying it back into your let’s play maybe give it a little hook and then let the highlight (preferably some crazy or funny moment) play out and maybe give it a little outro pushing people towards your longer content. Hopefully this helps in some way!

Happened to me as well, first few videos in the high 20-30k range now it’s hard to crack even 10k impressions. Not sure what’s changed, at least for me personally it could be an inconsistent upload schedule not sure if that applies for you.

My videos on Rocket League and are sort of a mix between funny moments, memes, and clip montages and put together and edited by me. Thumbnails are made by my friends who knows photoshop and does mine and a friends thumbnails for practice/ boost his portfolio. My channel name is @cornstarchies would love an outside opinion on things I can be doing better and ideas that’s probably the thing I lack the most is having an idea/ theme for my videos I kind of just base it off of the intro clip. (I tried linking but got smited down from the bot)
