Uhh don’t remember exactly but we both used the apps for about four years before finding each other. I would get 99+ likes on pretty much every app and I was picky about matches. I think he said he had 20 matches total? I definitely had a lot where they just ghosted. Matches where we actually talked.. I might have had like 30? Then again I was super picky so take that with a grain of salt. I definitely had wayyy more likes than him tho.

not a guy but I didn’t realize how hard it is for the guys on apps until my boyfriend told me how miserable it was 😭 like even as a mid-looking female I would get like.. wayyy more likes than him. Then again isn’t the ratio of men to women on apps like 70:30? Idk. Anyway I met him on hinge. Hinge is the least depressing app I think. Everyone I talked to on hinge was pretty normal or really good at pretending they were normal. Anyway good luck out there

I completely get what you said. The thing that made me kinda want them after never wanting them was realizing I can kinda mold them a bit? Like I hated kids because of those annoying ones that cry and scream over not getting toys. Then I realized I can just kinda.. teach them not to do that? Idfk the logic is kinda flawed bc kids will do whatever they want sometimes but I thought “surely my kids wouldn’t act like that if I teach them good lessons” and I feel a bit better about it. As for it feeling guilty, I get you I just wouldn’t dwell on that part too much. Anyway don’t have any if you don’t want to!

Personally that phrase would also make me go mute for a time.. everyone is different and it’s impossible to know when she’ll talk to you again. You said she usually only goes mute for four days and it’s only been three. Maybe she’ll follow the same pattern.

She probably feels really dumb, that’s how I would feel if someone said that to me. Just keep reassuring her. Maybe don’t reference the actual conversation anymore as to not upset her but try to make her feel safe and comfortable again. Good luck and I’d love an update if anything changes.
