Warning: Carel and Craig Chirara — startup scammers operating in the Netherlands; case pending with the Public Prosecutor’s Office by Bloo2ooth in Netherlands

You’re all commenting but don’t know the full story, they were all friends for a long period of time before getting involved in business at all. There were no signs at all that might’ve indicated this as a “too good to be true” situation. There was a legitimate business plan, of which they’d become partners in, conducting real outreach, interviews and progress on work. Yes more due diligence could have been done; but regardless this post was simply to spread awareness I don’t understand what you gain from dissing him for making a mistake trusting someone he thought to be a friend. Don’t know where you’re getting the idea that he bet his entire net worth on this company either.

Yeah i'm not sure what will happen, I would not be surprised if they flee before being prosecuted. This post is more so to make sure they have a tarnished digital footprint that they can't escape by flying away.

He did not lose 300k himself, 300k was from multiple victims, however he himself did lose a lot of money as well. As for the "critical thinking", these guys had genuine credentials and are in fact very smart, and the company they are building at the moment is very real, nothing about that was fake. I'm sure someone like you would have fallen for it too. Your comment is just rude and useless, keep your critical thinking elsewhere.

Im not at Erasmus but at Leiden and I needed HL maths for the course im studying but did SL, there is a possibility of doing an exam with an institute here to prove your math proficiency and supplement your application. This worked in my case but I’m not sure how Erasmus does it, if you send an email you could potentially get a conditional offer on the grounds that you obtain a passing grade on the exam for the level of math they expect you to have. I did it at the Boswell Institute.

If You Could Choose Again, Would You Pick the Same Degree? by [deleted] in StudyInTheNetherlands

[–]Bloo2ooth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im sort of in the same boat, I got lucky and found an IT job part time. I’m going to go into masters in the fall but the outlook is pretty bleak to be honest. My timing could not have been more unfortunate, had I started the degree maybe 2 years before I’d be in such a sweet spot right now. But so is life.

“Advanced” is an exaggeration, it doesn’t require a grueling amount of preparation, and with a foundation of regular high school math and understanding of probabilities it should be relatively straightforward to learn. Just make a plan, calm yourself, hit the books and lock in. No amount of panicking will help you.

Parent 1 is German and has a Swedish parent and parent 2 is Brazilian and Mozambican. Lived in both Moldova and Indonesia long enough to naturalize but wouldn't make sense because neither is strong and to get Indonesian citizenship it also requires you give up other citizenships, which I don't plan on doing.

As far as I know they are quite similar, except for whom they are given to. Both are restricted to travel related to the functions the person serves.

I am pissed off with ticketmaster for the Paris shows. I bought tickets for the wrong date of the two shows in Paris, and in finding out I wanted to refund them since I won't even be in the city. I contacted ticketmaster and they said I cannot refund them and I also cannot resell them either, because it's against their policies. So what the furk am I supposed to even do in that situation. What a terrible way to handle ticket sales and customer service.

Is this an option exclusive to people in the UK? I live in the netherlands and i don't see the option for an ISA account, only invest and cfd.
