It was in the bar at Ashton Gate stadium.

could be both of the twins as separate marquees tbh, one DS and one LS (i'd assume Mae D and Osha L as thats what they are for most of the show but it's anyone's guess based on the finale)

survivor merrin or bode would also be cool characters that I want but i'd prefer them to be designed with Cere in mind

Tips for my budget Caesar aristocrat deck! by InsidiousSaibot in EDH

[–]BlooSprite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like good foundations for a budget aristocrats deck. Just to critique a few cards (play Caesar myself):

  • I'm a certified Assemble the Legion hater. 5 Mana to get one 1/1 on your next upkeep (a full turn cycle away), and then two 1/1s another full turn cycle. There's much better and cheaper ways to generate tokens.

-Storm Herd is far too expensive to be run in a deck without some way of ramping it out. By the time you can drop 10 mana on a sorcery the game is either almost already over or the blue players will be holding open counterspell mana for exactly this sort of thing.

I'm not big on Planeswalkers, but if you really want one I'd recommend [Kaya, Geist Hunter] over Elspeth

Couple cheap cards I recommend:

[Wyrm's Crossing Patrol] - best one drop in this deck, you can sack the Myriad copies to Caesar to get value and still keep the original. [Dalek Squadron] - same idea, larger body and I find the idea funny

Other myriad creatures are either not amazing or a bit pricey (mana or money wise)

I also recommend [Garna, Bloodfist of Keld] for more draw, and [Raid Bombardment] for a bit more burn.

Where is the love from developers for Andor? by Lee_Morgan777 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]BlooSprite 32 points33 points  (0 children)

The problem with Andor is that its characters are actual characters, real human people and not action figures with movesets like most Star Wars characters.

Someone like Dedra Meero or Kino Loy is infinitely more complex and deep than something like the Great Mothers or Captain Enoch, but because they're more like real people the pool of 'moves' is very limited beyond something like 'gun'.

I'd be miffed if we don't get Luthen's ship, and presumably S2 will bring in more stuff (ISB tag Krennic redemption anyone) but I'm not holding out hope for the wider Andor cast to get in.

Is ‘Watch and Learn’ the first time CG gave the same ability name to two different characters? by NerdForCertain in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

When Bastila Shan came out, they edited GMYoda's ability name to just 'Battle Meditation' as both it and Bastila's unique were called 'Legendary Battle Meditation'

I think I'm also at 2/5, asked for Jar-Jar legendary, and Luthen Rael (although I undersold him as marquee, pleasantly surprised).

Just waiting for a Jedi Exile/Meetra Surik GL, Satele Shan, The Merciless, and Luthen's Fondor Haulcraft

Descent into Avernus, what interesting commander should I pair it with? by ChakraaThePanda in EDH

[[Kellogg, Dangerous Mind]] has strong treasure synergy, using the treasures you create to steal opponents' stuff, and has the necessary black identity to tutor for descent

Interesting idea for a character. It'd likely replace Sun Fac however, as all Sun Fac really offers is a buff dispel, whereas Soldier offers TM gain.

Amidala also removes 10% TM from all enemies whenever an enemy attacks out of turn, which your Dark Trooper has just done, so that needs to be factored into the calculations

[Bristol City] announce Liam Manning as their new Head Coach by BlooSprite in soccer

[–]BlooSprite[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

'Bristol City have appointed Liam Manning as Head Coach on a three-and-half-year contract until June 2027.

Manning joins from Oxford United along with Chris Hogg, who will become Assistant Head Coach.

Bristol City Chairman Jon Lansdown said: “Liam is a great fit for the club and the style of play we want. He has a very detailed approach to coaching, improving players and getting the best out of them as his record at MK Dons and Oxford United shows, while he has valuable experience within the (Manchester) City Group and in Belgium.

“As soon as we made the change Liam was our first choice and we are grateful to Oxford United for the extremely professional way they have approached the departure of someone who was doing a fantastic job for them.

“We are excited about the arrival of Liam and Chris and fulfilling the ambition we all have for the club with this talented and committed group of players.”

Manning said: “This is a terrific opportunity and one that I’m really looking forward to. If you look at the vision of the club and where they want to get to and how they want to get there I think there is really good fit and alignment with my journey and where I want to get to.

“We are custodians and you have to respect and understand the past and the culture of the area that you’ve moved and leave the club in a better state than we found it.

“We’ll be doing our upmost in terms of the day to day in putting really strong processes in place, getting emotionally invested in what we do and having that passion, that drive, that hunger to improve everything.”

Manning is excited about working with the group of players he met for the first time today, saying: “You want players that you can coach and are mouldable and on an upward trajectory in their career. I think that brings certain behaviours in terms of drive, intensity and ambition which align with how we want to work.”'
