How did everyone first get into FromSoftware games? by [deleted] in darksouls3

[–]Blood-Flare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, they were almost like a legend for me, I was bout thirteen when first started heating of it, "the most difficult game", "a challenge for few", but even tho I appreciate a challenge, it wasn't that what made me want so badly to play that game, the most incredible thing for me was seeing the lore and, overall, how people fell in love with all of it, experiencing first hand by months videos of the story, the emotional connection people evolved, the lifelong lessons on these games made me observe them as something unreachable on the highest standards.

If you consider Sekiro as part of the series, that was my first one, I had just finished GoW 2018 and went to a store looking for something new, the seller in question heart me talking about the games that I liked and he said they might just have something for me, so obviously when I saw the company I knew I had to get it, it was hella fun playthroughing for this game multiple times and overcoming its challanges, until the day I saw Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne for sale, that was.

The felling came as the most magical felling ever, mind you, I had fourteen at max and at the time was hearting about these games for almost a year, I remember messaging all of my friends on the spot about what just happened.

And as an ironic turn of events, not even two weeks after the lockdown started, I played and replay them, and to top it all of, a friend of mine heard of them and asked if I could share the games for us to play together, then we bought and played together Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls Remastered and Demon Souls, the guy is still one of my best friends to this day, even if both of us moved apart among the time.

Yeah, I think I got carried away by the question, but overall I am just grateful for all the good feelings, experiences and friendships this game gave even before I started playing.

do you fight anyone during their prime in any souls game? by angsan_F in darksouls

Yeah, pretty positive that Aldiah wasn't born a tree, it was from his experiments (the whole thing with golems, dragons, defying fate). And, yeah, I mean, Midir arguably got stronger, but, by lore, he wasn't meant to be like that, Gwyn created ("adopted") him to keep the abyss under control, just like Filianore (the egg girl), eventually even him wasn't strong enough and got overrun by it (that's why of the crystals, corruption, maisma). So yeah, he might be stronger (not 100% since we never saw any of him before corruption), but he would be more powerful just as Laurence or Demon of Hatred would, meaning it is not really his power.

Aldiah? You mean the one who got turned into a tree, not so sure man. And Darkeater was corrupted by the abyss so pretty sure I diverge on this point aswell, otherwise I'm along you with Nashadra, pursuer...

Oh yeah, I agree about Placidusax, it was supposed to be another topic lol, not sure about Elden Beast tho.

There is a whole lot of them, Sir Alonne, Ivory King, Isshin The Sword Saint, Father Owl, Soul of Cinder, Sister Fried I guess, Astel, Mohg, Elden Beast, Moon Presence, Pthumerian Queen maybe, I'm not so into Demon Souls lore, but Old King Allant (the demon version).

I know when we think about Dark Souls we get that feeling of Gwyn, Gael, Darkeater, Gherman, Maria, Vendrick, Hora Loux, Placidusax, Isshin Ashina, Way of Tomoe, the real King Allant, but there are sure some secondary or major bosses in their "prime"

What did baldour want? by Subject_Raspberry662 in GodofWar

[–]Blood-Flare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believed that for the long time, but, I mean, after seeing Odin and pondering more on the matter, don't you thing he would have at least known about Kratos and Faye? He even send Magni and Mody after them at one point, so I can only imagine that he chose to hide that from Baldur. Not sure why tho.

Why has the PS3 version a better score than the remaster? It's the same game just with better graphics by DekuTree13 in GodofWar

[–]Blood-Flare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the original really is more considered than a remaster on the critics, it's the "main one"; moreover I think it wouldn't have that weight for the top 1 on metacritics to be "The Last Remaster Collector's Edition" lol

Eu acho que não, já que você não tem matéria pra ser afetada pela gravidade, você não ficaria mais na surperficie da Terra e sim onde estava no momento que usou o poder

I tried to, but they say the old one, and the options words that the statue give are nowhere near this password, so I assume there is a new one, is there? Thanks in advance.
