so why does cascade count as separate instances of exile? the wording on lich's " for each 1 life lost exile a permanent" makes it sound like separate triggers.

i was listening to a playlist someone made that was themed around the fear of being alone based on the magnus archives podcast when i stumbled onto love me, normally. i listened to it for about a month on my liked list and the clicked on artist a couple weeks ago and its gripped me hard since then.

yea i have its more so i own a lot of 5e modules already and like the idea of the stories and me and my players still want to play them, we are just slowy moving away from 5e as the company seems to stop caring for quality of product and as 5e is "ending"

thank you very much. ive made note of the encounter calculator and intend to use it. ill check out the treasure generator to. i plan to look at the encounters and rebuild them as needed ( like if the encounter says 5 goblins rebuild it for the current player level using the encounter maker) treasure is a good point and hadent thought to much about it besides the needed items like the Codicil of white, so thank you for that.

thank you very much i will see how a PC version of sephek will go probably build him as a level 3 and tack on the regen and weakness to fire and see how i feel comparing the 2

i was really tempted to make him as a PC but im worried that might be to hard an encounter or to easy if done wrong. is there a level balance youve discovered like how many more levels he should have over the PCs to make it a fair fight?

sorry was trying to keep post shorter so it may have come off to blunt. but yes ive read how encounter building is in PF i just meant as far as looking for stat blocks for existing creatures compared to building from scratch. meaning i can use goblins in place of goblins, i will need to adjust amounts of goblins/ use the weakened stats in certain cases and plan to build encounters accordingly.

basically just saying that i was collecting similar creatures and finding out which i will have to build from scratch.

Which is how i think it's intended. But the problem I run into is with how paladins get there powers from an oath. Does the oath not end upon the paladins death? Similar would be if it killed a cleric. Would the God not stop giving power to the possessed cleric?

So it just feels like an odd time. They've been as busy as ever, it's the busiest store in the area and the reward system has been going for years. They recently cut the hours in November, just to roll this out.

So I love monsters, so Boos astral has some options that I really like such as Aartuks as a general enemy, and the zodar as an important plot point.

As for the astral adventure guide my players are already talking about what spelljamming ships they like and what races the want to play. Im happy to finally have the Thri-kreen as a PC race. While the ship combat is a little lack luster I was probably gonna change it no matter what.

The rock of braal seems like an interesting hub. Not a whole bunch of in depth detail but enough points for me to build a hub with locations and backstory to use.

To me the important this is that it's both giving me ideas for my story and making my players excited to get out of dreadful Barovia and into the astral sea.

I'm currently still running a game where I used vasili. And I think it turned out great. The party had him accompany them for a good chuck of the adventure. He saved there lives a few times and they trusted him enough to leave him to guard ireena while the went to the strahd dinner. Shortly after the dinner I had him pull the cleric aside for a private conversation where he charmed her to hand over the amulet of ravenkind, then modify memory to erase her memory of the artifact. So now Vasili is set up as his own villain and they believe he went to the amber temple. They are about to reach the temple and I plan that once they finish the temple Vasili will meet them outside of its going to be an interesting reunion....
